operates our own dedicated, multi-homed network in our datacenter.
Our local network is fully-switched and collision-free, while
our external connections are OC-12c (up to 622Mbps) and GigE (up to 1000Mbps) to six
diverse backbone providers. We exclusively use Juniper Networks
for wire-speed, rock-solid connectivity to our upstream providers.
Through hand-tuning in addition to BGP route selection, we
ensure optimal route selection and automatic failover in the
event of outages. We also operate the Pittsburgh Internet Exchange ®.
pair Networks focuses on delivering outgoing
traffic through private peering points, and is continually
being upgraded for additional capacity and diversity.
